Email Protection
This page explains how SEQUENCE handles your email address — what we send, why, and how you stay in control at all times.
What we send
If you have given us your email address, we use it only for the following:
- Order confirmations — a receipt sent immediately after your order is placed
- Shipping updates — tracking information when your order is dispatched
- Support correspondence — replies to messages you send us
- The SEQUENCE newsletter — research updates and product news, sent only if you explicitly opted in
We do not send promotional emails to people who have not opted in. We do not use your email address for advertising, retargeting, or profiling.
How we store it
Your email address is stored securely with our email service provider and our order management system. Both are bound by data processing agreements that meet GDPR requirements. We do not store email addresses in plain text in any publicly accessible location.
We retain your email address for as long as our relationship is active. If you have placed an order, we retain it for 7 years to meet Dutch tax and accounting obligations. Newsletter subscribers are retained until they unsubscribe.
What we never do
- We do not sell your email address to third parties
- We do not share it with advertisers
- We do not use it to build advertising profiles
- We do not send unsolicited commercial email
Unsubscribe from the newsletter
Every newsletter we send includes an unsubscribe link at the bottom of the email. Clicking it removes you immediately. You will still receive transactional emails (order confirmations, shipping updates) if you have an active order.
If you want to be removed from all email communication, including transactional messages, email us at [email protected] and we will action it within 5 business days.

SEQUENCE sends email from one address only: [email protected]
If you receive an email claiming to be from SEQUENCE from a different address — especially one asking for payment details, login credentials, or personal information — do not click any links and do not reply. Forward it to [email protected] so we can investigate.
Your rights
Under GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you, including your email address. To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected] . We will respond within 30 days.
