FAQ
The questions that come up before a first order.
What does Sequence sell?
Research compounds, organised into six categories by biological outcome rather than by molecule. Each product carries a full reference page: composition, concentration, storage, mechanism, reported effects, and documented safety signals.
Is this a membership?
No. There is no application, no waitlist, no tier. Everything published is available to order.
What does “research chemical” mean on your labels?
It means these compounds are supplied for laboratory research use and are not authorised medicines. They are not sold for human or veterinary consumption, and nothing on this site is medical advice. If you are considering any compound in connection with your own health, that is a conversation for a licensed clinician who knows your history.
Are your compounds tested?
Every batch is third-party tested for identity and purity by HPLC and mass spectrometry. The certificate of analysis for the batch you received is available on request with your order number.
How should vials be stored before use?
Lyophilised vials are shipped at ambient temperature and should be moved to refrigeration on arrival. Each product’s reference page states the storage window for that specific compound.
How long does an order take?
Orders placed before 14:00 CET on a working day are dispatched the same day. See Shipping for destinations and transit times.
Can I return an order?
Unopened vials can be returned within 14 days. Opened vials cannot, for reasons set out in Returns.
Do you ship internationally?
To selected destinations. Import rules for research compounds vary considerably between countries, and it is the buyer’s responsibility to confirm what may lawfully be imported into their own jurisdiction before ordering.
Something arrived damaged.
Photograph the outer packaging and the vial before handling anything further, then contact us with your order number. Damaged-in-transit vials are replaced.
